Implementation of a twin-screw extrusion system resistant to abrasion and adapted for the formulation and production of 100% recycled polyolefin matrix plastics with enhanced performance through the addition of abrasive fibrous reinforcements

The project involves implementing a twin-screw extrusion system to develop new hybrid resins through the compounding of recycled plastic materials. The project will be carried out in three phases: (1) configuration trials and parameter adjustments, (2) production trials, and (3) transfer of equipment to our production facility. One of the objectives is to integrate up to 20% recycled hybrid resins into the production of fiberglass pool edges and paddles.
